NYC Destination Weddings

Persons living outside of NYC but wishes to get married within NYC are WELCOME!!

The beautiful City of NY has no residency requirement for marriages. Therefore, you can live anywhere in the world and come to NYC and get married in the beautiful City. For your marriage to be legally recognized you must obtain a marriage license from the City Clerk at least 24hrs before the ceremony, have at least one witness and utilize a Wedding Officiant that is registered with the City of New York.

Marriage certificates maybe issued in various forms. However, the extended form used for foreign countries with raised seals and hand signatures cost $35. Be sure to check with your country which form is accepted by them before visiting the County Clerk Office in NYC.
